Did you ever think that our world can be a better place? A world with no fighting, free of troubles, no crimes, no poverty, but just a plain peace world. Did you ever think about it too? For others, a peaceful world only exists in dreams and imaginations, but I believe we don’t just dream, right? We wake up too, at the moment when the alarm clock starts ringing, the rooster starts crowing. Those are the moments when suddenly, from dreamland, we just woke up and reality is already in front of us. Let’s just say we don’t exist just to sleep and dream , but also to wake up and make those dreams into reality. “ If you can dream it, you can do it” (Walt Disney) .

August 17, 2012. Oh, I can still remember exactly the things that happened during that day. This was the date or the birth of my dream of becoming a Youth Preacher. I can still recall the days when I was still a bully. I always used to start the fghts and make fun of my classmates. Let’s just say I am the “Alpha Dog” at my class back then haha. But if I will look back again at my past from now, it’s really so hard to believe that from being a bully, I started dreaming to become Youth Preacher. From time to time, as I become mature and concern about the world we are living, I realized that there are far more important than the nonsense things I do. Poverty, crime , war, it’s everywhere. Also we know that some men, women, or even youths around the world tend to take their lives, maybe because of depression. Relationship problems, unemployment, etc. From that situation, I realized that I have to do something. That the life that God gives should not be wasted. In my thinking, all of those needs to be stop that everyone needs hope. So for the first time in my life, I passionately placed my life to God and started focusing on Him. And every single day, I dedicated my time working hard and training myself on how to become an effective preceptor of hope and life. There are some challenges and fears along the way but I won’t let those stop me from speaking life and hope to others.

And now, I’m a second year college student and I’m leading a group of teenagers where I preach them about the words of God and give them hope. At first, all these were really impossible, but because of my passion to pursue this dream of mine and with the help of God, I was able to do it.

It doesn’t matter what your past is all about. Don’t let it hold you back and box your dream. If you want something, go get it, run for it, always move forward, dedicate every hard work for the dream you pursue and let it always be a reminder that dreams do come true for those who wakes up and turns it to reality.
