As Wesley said in The Princess Bride “Life is pain, highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something.” For some, like my family, it has become extremely hard and we carry a life-long burden.

Imagine Moses, having been stripped of his incredible position in Egypt, now wandering through the desert with nothing. He didn’t know what God had planned for him. Certainly he must have grappled with the question, why?

In my story, I bring that message home through both Moses and Aaron. Moses will hit an ‘end of life’ moment before he discovers something greater. But I also explore this with Aaron, who for many years suffered as a slave while his brother Moses appeared to have everything he could ever want.

In all truth, we (my family) still bump into those questions of why. Our situation is much harder than the average family has to face. We know we are not alone.
